Do I need a boating license?
No license needed! With a professional skipper on board, you can fully enjoy the experience without any previous boating knowledge or certifications.
Are children allowed on board?
Yes, children are more than welcome. They must be accompanied by an adult and remain under supervision at all times. The boats are safe and comfortable for family outings.
What kind of boat will I get?
You’ll enjoy a premium Marinello Open model — either the 20 or 22 Open — equipped with a 150 or 200 hp 4-stroke Yamaha or Honda engine.
All boats come with a spacious sundeck, swim platform, ladder, coolbox, table, shower, and bimini sunshade. The 22 Open offers extra-large deck and platform space for enhanced comfort.
All piloted by an experienced skipper.
Where do rentals start and end?
Rentals start and end at the Lido Cannobio harbor or beach area. Your skipper will meet you there and guide you throughout the experience.
Is fuel included?
No, fuel is not included in the rental price. Boats are provided fully fueled, and you can either:
- Refill the tank before returning the boat, or
- Pay for the fuel used based on consumption (€2.20/liter, calculated from the fuel deposit).
A fuel deposit of €50–100 is required at the start of the rental.

Can I dock anywhere?
No: Docking is only allowed at Lido harbor, at fuel stations, or in emergencies
Unauthorized docking can cause damage and is the renter’s full responsibility
Are tow sports or waterskiing allowed?
No, regional regulations prohibit tow sports (waterski, wakeboard, etc.) for rental boats. These activities require special equipment and certifications.
What documents do I need to bring?
You must have:
- A valid ID or passport
Can I bring food, drinks on board?
Absolutely! You're encouraged to bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and of course, your children. There’s a coolbox on board to keep beverages chilled, and the spacious layout is great for families or groups.
